How To Watch Big 12 Biggest Men’s Basketball Games For Week 6
The Big 12 men’ basketball season starts Week 6 of the season on Tuesday with games around the country and with many programs preparing to gear down a bit for the holidays.
But there are still plenty of great cross-conference matchups this week, with many of them coming after final exams and at neutral sites, including Houston and Fort Worth, Texas.
Here’s the complete schedule, how to watch each game and, if you’re so inclined, the three must-watch games of the week.
Kansas at Indiana
How To Watch: 11:30 a.m., Saturday CBS
A battle of two of the best-known basketball programs in the country. Kansas is on better footing right now. But Assembly Hall up in Bloomington, Ind., is one of the toughest places to play in the country. Indiana is looking for a big win. Kansas would give it one.
Houston vs. Texas A&M
How to Watch: 1:30 p.m., Saturday, ESPN2 (at Toyota Center, Houston)
The second half of a neutral site doubleheader in Houston pits the Cougars against the Aggies, giving Houston its last shot at a Top 25 win before it gets into Big 12 play next month. For the Aggies, a win over the Cougars would be a real shot in the arm. This should be a great game.
Baylor vs. Michigan State
How to Watch: 8 p.m., Fox (at Detroit, Mich.)
This is basically a home game for the Spartans, as the game will be played at the home of the Detroit Pistons. Neutral site environments haven’t spooked the Bears in recent years. In the national landscape this game means a bit more to Michigan State, as taking down an undefeated Baylor team would give the Spartans a boost. For Baylor, it’s the Bears’ last major test before conference play.
