How To Watch Big 12 Biggest Women’s Basketball Games For Week 6
The Big 12 women’s basketball season hits Week 6 on Monday with most of the conference’s programs getting in some home games before they break for the holidays.
That doesn’t mean there aren’t good games on the slate for this week. But teams are calibrating their schedules for the start of Big 12 play in a few weeks.
Here’s the complete schedule, how to watch each game and, if you’re so inclined, the three must-watch games of the week.
Texas at Arizona
How To Watch: 8 p.m., Wednesday, Pac-12 Network
I honestly cannot wait until the Pac-12 Network is gone because then we could actually watch this game. Good luck finding it. It doesn’t have the luster of a year or two ago when Arizona went to the Final Four. But this is the big stumbling block for the Longhorns to go into Big 12 play undefeated.
Baylor vs. Miami (FL)
How to Watch: 4 p.m., Saturday, ESPN+ (at San Antonio, Texas)
Speaking of stumbling blocks, if Baylor wants to go into its Dec. 30 meeting with Texas undefeated then the Bears have to win this game. Miami went to the Sweet 16 last year and, to this point, Baylor has handled every challenge. Added bonus — you don’t have to go to great lengths to watch it.
Houston at Washington State
How to Watch: 4 p.m., Sunday, Pac-12 Washington
Houston hasn’t had many chances to prove itself against high-major competition so far this season. A trip to Pullman, Wash., gives the Cougars the opportunity to snag a helpful win for their NET rating and their confidence going into Big 12 action.
