Big 12 Football Media Days to Move from Arlington to Las Vegas in 2024, 2025: Report
The Big 12 Conference is reportedly going to have a new home for its Football Media Days event in 2024 and 2025, according to Action Network’s Brett McMurphy.
McMurphy reported on Tuesday night that the Big 12 would be moving due to conflicts at AT&T Stadium next July, the month when college football conferences host their media days.
The SEC is set to host its football media days at the Omni Hotel in downtown Dallas from July 15 to July 18, while the MLB All-Star Game will be played at Globe Life Field on July 16th.
Understandably, it may be hectic around Arlington, with AT&T Stadium right down the street from Globe Life Field that week. However, will the Big 12 now try to go head-to-head against SEC Media Days from Las Vegas? If not, why not just stay at AT&T and try for the week before or the week after?
At this point, it’s speculation, until the Big 12 makes an official announcement.
The Big 12 Football Media Days have taken place at AT&T Stadium for the last several years after spending a couple of years at The Star, the Dallas Cowboys’ practice facility in Frisco, Texas.
