Kansas State Lands 2024 Four-Star WR Trae Davis
Chris Klieman and the Kansas State Wildcats added a new name to their 2024 class of incoming freshmen with the commitment of four-star wide receiver Trae Davis.
Davis chose the Wildcats over the likes of Washington State, UTSA, and Tulane who each made Davis’ final cutdown list for decision day.
Davis is listed as a four-star prospect by the On3 Industry Rankings and currently checks in as the nation’s 278th-ranked recruit. He also ranks 47th in the Class of 2024 at the wide receiver position and is the 45th-ranked player in the state of Texas.
Davis took an official visit to Kansas State on November 10th for the Wildcats’ 59-25 win over Baylor which impacted his decision to head to Kansas State. The Texas native spoke on his time in Manhattan with K-StateOnline’s Drew Galloway saying, “It was a great experience and I loved it a lot. My favorite part of the visit was when I walked by the student section and they all knew my name and who I was. I know for sure that the students at K-State love the team and the players.”
Trae Davis and the rest of Kansas State’s future commits have the opportunity to watch their future squad take on the No. 19 NC State Wolfpack in the Pop-Tarts Bowl on Thursday, December 28th.
