Oklahoma Lands Elite 2024 IOL Eddy Pierre Louis
Oklahoma has landed a major addition to its 2024 class just ahead of early signing day next week as four-star offensive lineman Eddy Pierre-Louis has chosen the Sooners over a host of other suitors.
The impact of landing Pierre-Louis cannot be overstated after losing starting offensive guard Cayden Green to the transfer portal earlier this week.
Listed at 6-foot-4, 320 pounds, Pierre-Louis is one of the most physically gifted players in the class of 2024 and is incredibly well-built coming out of high school. According to Rivals, Pierre-Louis is the No. 29 overall player in the country for the class of 2024 and is the No. 1 offensive guard in the country.
The Tampa (Fla.) native holds 52 offers from around the country, including schools like Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas A&M, and USC, but ultimately chose Oklahoma over UCF, who was in the fight until the end.
The addition of “EPL” gives Oklahoma 27 commitments in the class of 2024, and gives them the No. 8 class in the country, according to Rivals.
In all likelihood, this is the final addition of Oklahoma’s 2024 class, at least from the high school ranks, unless Oklahoma can flip Texas A&M commit Dominick McKinley. The Sooners are working on the five-star DL after the coaching changes in College Station, but it could be hard for them to win his services in the end.
