How To Watch Big 12 Biggest Women’s Basketball Games For Week 7
The Big 12 women’s basketball season hits Week 7 on Monday and it’s a front-loaded schedule, as most teams will get a few days to rest and relax around Christmas.
With Big 12 action just two weeks away, some teams have calibrated their schedules to allow for final preparations — and to get a couple of more wins before things really get going on Dec. 30.
Here’s the complete schedule, how to watch each game and, if you’re so inclined, the three must-watch games of the week.
Oklahoma vs. North Carolina
How To Watch: 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, ESPN2
This may as well be a home game for North Carolina, since it’s being held in Charlotte, N.C., as part of the Jumpman Invitational. For Oklahoma, it’s the Sooners last chance to score a high-major win before Big 12 action begins. North Carolina has been in the Top 25 most of the season, but the Tar Heels fell to Kansas State earlier this season.
Nebraska at Kansas
How to Watch: 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Big 12 Now on ESPN+
Another year, another old Big 8 rivalry back on the hardcourt. This game doesn’t disappoint in terms of competitiveness. But this is a game that Kansas truly needs for its NCAA Tournament credentials in March. After a few high-major losses already, Kansas can’t afford another one.
Oklahoma State vs. Oregon
How to Watch: 3 p.m., Thursday, ESPN+ (at St. George, UT)
Oklahoma State is another team that needs a high-major win going into Big 12 play. The Cowgirls’ three losses are to teams in the Pac-12 and the Big Ten. This is their last shot to score one before hosting Iowa State on Dec. 30. Good news? Oregon already has a loss to Baylor.
Note: Texas Tech has a credential-building game in Hawaii against Oregon State, but the game does not have a television designation.
