Jim Harbaugh is the New Favorite to Become the Los Angeles Chargers Head Coach

While rumors of Jim Harbaugh leaving Michigan for another shot at the NFL have been circling all season, after the Log Angeles Chargers fired Brandon Staley on December 15th, Harbaugh’s name has popped back up as a possible replacement.

The Michigan head coach was listed as the favorite to fill the vacancy in 2024 and was joined on the list by polarizing names including the likes of Bill Belichick, Lincoln Riley, Ryan Day, Deion Sanders, Phillip Rivers, and more.

While the Michigan Wolverines have a date with the Alabama Crimson Tide in the first round of the College Football Playoff set for New Year’s Day, Harbaugh’s name being tied to NFL vacancies is nothing new this offseason.

Rumors of Harbaugh joining Chicago, Los Angeles, New England, and more have all emerged in the eyes of fans, but with the Chargers now entering a clean slate mode, the possibility of landing Harbaugh is definitely on the table.

Despite the rumors of Harbaugh leaving for a new job, Michigan takes the field on Monday, January 1st against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the Rose Bowl live on ESPN.
