UCF Lands Commitment From 2025 Four-Star WR Santonyo Isaac

Gus Malzahn and the UCF Knights are recruiting at an unprecedented level since becoming a member of the Big 12 in 2023.

As things stand now, the Knights have the second-highest ranked 2024 recruiting class in the Big 12, with a conference-best seven fou-star players committed. The Knights’ class ranks 31st nationally, according to Rivals, trailing only Texas Tech (23rd).

If you’ve followed this sport for any length of time, you know recruiting never sleeps, and that picking up commitments in future classes is also vital during the offseason.

Before the Knights take on Georgia Tech in the Gasparilla Bowl on Friday, UCF got some good news for their class of 2025, landing four-star WR Santonyo Isaac out of Tampa, Florida.

Isaac is rated as the No. 58 WR in the 2025 class and has an impressive list of offers, including teams such as Alabama, Penn State, Oregon, Florida State, Georgia, and Colorado, among others.

The 6-foot-0, 172-pound wideout chose to stay close to home and play for the Knights in Orlando though, giving them third verbal commitment for their 2025 class.

UCF’s 2025 class now ranks 17th nationally, and second in the Big 12 just two spots behind Texas Tech at No. 15.

Talent doesn’t appear to be an issue that UCF will have to overcome in their new conference, as they stand to be one of the more talented teams in the league going forward. That bodes well for an up-and-coming program that will have plenty of opportunities to make the 12-team playoff in years to come.
