Three Big 12 Schools in the Mix for Four-Star Edge Max Granville

NCAA Football: Texas at Kansas

2025 four-star edge rusher Max Granville officially released his top 10 cutdown list on Tuesday which included three teams from the Big 12 Conference.

The three teams listed on Granville’s list were the Baylor Bears, the Kansas Jayhawks, and the Oklahoma Sooners. Joining them in the top 10 are Alabama, Penn State, SMU, USC, Ohio State, Texas A&M, and LSU.

Granville is listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index and is currently graded as the nation’s 128th-ranked prospect. He also checks in as the 16th-ranked player at his position, and the 22nd-ranked player in the state of Texas.

The Texas native comes from a long line of collegiate athletes in the family as both his brother and father had successful careers in football. Granville’s brother, Zion Granville played college football at Illinois State while their father, Billy Granville played professional football with Cincinnati and Houston after spending time with Duke from 1994-1995.

While the ten teams listed as potential homes for Granville in the near future all have a shot at landing him, after receiving offers from 32 different programs around the nation, it is safe to say that whichever team can earn a commitment from the Texas native will earn a massive name in the Class of 2025.
