Kansas State G Ques Glover to Make Season Debut vs. Chicago State
Jerome Tang and the Kansas State Wildcats are getting a late Christmas gift on January 2nd with senior guard Ques Glover set to make his season debut against Chicago State.
Glover went down awkwardly with a knee injury in the Wildcats’ 102-68 exhibition match win over Emporia State in November, and will now hit the court after two months of rehab and rest.
Glover elected to commit to the Wildcats after starting his career at Florida alongside former Wildcat Keyontae Johnson, who earned All-American honors at K-State before being selected by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second round of the 2023 NBA Draft.
Coming out of high school, Glover was listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index, checking in as the 51st-ranked point guard in the class of 2018, and also was listed as the ninth-ranked prospect from the state of Tennessee.
The Tennessee native spent two seasons at Samford College after transferring from Florida and averaged an impressive 17 points per game over two seasons. Glover was one of four players to join Kansas State this offseason in the transfer portal alongside Creighton transfer Arthur Kaluma, North Texas transfer Tylor Perry, and Mississippi State transfer Will McNair.
Glover and the Wildcats will take the court on Tuesday, January 2nd to take on the Chicago State Cougars in the final game of the Wildcats’ non-conference schedule before starting Big 12 Conference play on January 6th against UCF.
