McNeese State Trolls Michigan After Win: ‘Not Even Connor Stalions Could Save You’
While the Michigan sign-stealing scandal surrounding Connor Stalions is mostly on the back-burners at this point, the Southland Conference found an awesome way to troll Michigan after McNeese State beat them at basketball on Friday.
The Southland Conference posted a graphic of former football staffer Connor Stalions in the basketball stands wearing Michigan gear that read, “Not even Connor Stalions could save you.”
While McNeese State handed Michigan an embarrassing loss on Friday night 87-76, the taunt from the Southland Conference may have been a tougher pill to swallow.
Connor Stalions was eventually dismissed by the University of Michigan, but after Stalions was caught attending 30 different Big Ten football games over the last three years by stadium surveillance the joke of Michigan’s staff doesn’t feel like it’ll be coming to an end any time soon.
In basketball, football, or any other sport, as long as there is a team taking down the Wolverines of any kind, it’s a safe bet to assume that the name Connor Stalions could be used as an effective trolling opportunity.
