Oklahoma S Daeh McCullough Enters Transfer Portal
With transfer portal season officially upon us, college football fans are beginning to witness big names from their favorite teams announce their decision to enter the portal.
According to a report from On3’s Hayes Fawcett, Oklahoma safety Daeh McCullough is entering the transfer portal with four seasons of eligibility remaining.
While McCullough didn’t see the field in 2023 as a member of the Oklahoma Sooners, his older brother, Dasan McCullough, was one of the Sooners’ biggest playmakers on defense. The McCullough family features multiple Division 1 athletes as Daeh and Dasan have another brother, Deland McCullough, who most recently played football at Indiana.
Coming out of high school, McCullough was listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index and checked in as the nation’s 417th-ranked prospect. He was also listed as the 40th-ranked safety in his class and the fourth-ranked player in the state of Indiana.
Oklahoma will now have a new spot to fill ahead of the 2024 season, but with this offseason shaping up to include one of the busiest portal cycles in college football history, Brent Venables should have some options available for replacement.
