Houston, Kansas Given Top 5 Odds to Win 2024 NCAA Tournament
While it’s no secret that the Kansas Jayhawks and the Houston Cougars are two of the top basketball teams in the Big 12 Conference, the duo is also expected to have a shot at historic runs in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
Both Kansas and Houston were recently listed as two teams in the top five with the best odds at winning the 2024 NCAA Tournament courtesy of BetOnline Sportsbook.
Houston received the best odds of anyone in the Big 12 to win the tournament with +1200 odds. Kansas followed closely behind with the fifth-best odds listed at +1400.
Kelvin Sampson’s squad started off hot earning the No. 3 spot in the AP Top 25 after going a perfect 13-0 through the first 13 games of the season while No. 2 Kansas currently sits at 12-1. While the Jayhawks do have a loss on their resume through this point in the season, the loss came back on November 21st against Shaka Smart and fourth-ranked Marquette.
With Big 12 Conference play officially getting underway for each team on January 6th, things should start to heat up in the toughest conference in all of basketball. Kansas and Houston clash on Friday, February 3rd at 3:00 PM CT in Lawrence.
