Cincinnati Adds Former UNT Safety Logan Wilson in Transfer Portal
Scott Satterfield and the Cincinnati Bearcats added some depth in the secondary after losing two starters to the transfer portal with the addition of former UNT safety Logan Wilson.
Wilson was originally committed to Kansas State coming out of high school, and after leaving the school and entering the transfer portal, Wilson found his way to North Texas where he spent two seasons.
Wilson spent two seasons with the Mean Green and totaled 112 tackles, three interceptions, one forced fumble, and eight pass breakups. As a junior in 2023, Wilson recorded 61 stops, three pass breakups, and one interception.
Coming out of high school, Wilson was listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index and checked in as the nation’s 1315th-ranked prospect. He was also listed as the 128th-ranked player at his position and the 169th-ranked player in the state of Texas.
Wilson becomes the Bearcats’ seventh addition through the transfer portal this offseason joining players like Louisville’s Kameron Wilson, Ohio State’s Evan Pryor, FAU’s Tony Johnson, and more.
Cincinnati kicks off their 2024 season against Towson on Saturday, August 31st.
