Neal Brown Rejects Travis Kelce Claim He Was Dumped With Fake Mayonaise
The Duke’s Mayo Bowl has quickly become a fan favorite in college football circles, and it’s not because of what’s happening on the field.
While the games are certainly exciting enough between Power Five Four foes, the post-game celebration has become quite the spectacle.
Neal Brown and the West Virginia Mountaineers were the victors for this season’s game, a 30-10 beatdown of the North Carolina Tarheels. The team’s celebration afterward was great, but it was Brown and a cooler full of mayonnaise that went viral.
The “Mayo Bath” has become one of the most unique and still unsettling celebrations in all of sports, and this time around it was particularly unsettling for the recipient, as Brown isn’t a fan of mayonnaise to begin with.
There are some who are skeptical of the validity of the bath though, as Jason and Travis Kelce say that the substance dumped over Brown’s head wasn’t really mayo in the latest episode of their podcast, New Heights.
First of all, I need to thank my eighth-grade science teacher, Mr. Harshfield, for teaching me what viscosity meant so I didn’t have to look that one up. Hats off to you, sir.
Now, I do have to say I also had questions about the viscosity of the mayonnaise in the video, but ultimately came to the conclusion that it was probably just warmed up (*gags*) to help it pour out. Also, with the sheer amount of Duke’s Mayo that was on the premise for that game, there’s no way that it wasn’t mayo, right?
