Texas Forward Kadin Shedrick Game-Time Decision vs. West Virginia

Rodney Terry and the Texas Longhorns may be without the services of senior forward Kadin Shedrick who has been listed as a game-time decision for Saturday’s matchup against the West Virginia Mountaineers.

Shedrick did not play in the Longhorns 74-73 win over Cincinnati but has been a key piece for the Longhorns this season averaging 11 points per game.

 

As a senior in 2023-24, Shedrick averages 11 points and 4.3 rebounds on 58.3% shooting from the field. The North Carolina native joined the Longhorns in the transfer portal this offseason after spending three seasons at Virginia. During his four-year career, Shedrick has averaged 6.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in 18.3 minutes per game.

Coming out of Holly Springs High School in the Class of 2019, Shedrick was listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index as well as the nation’s 80th-ranked prospect. He also was listed as the 17th-ranked player at his position and the third-ranked player from the state of North Carolina.
