Arizona RB Jonah Coleman Enters Transfer Portal
With transfer portal season officially upon us, college football fans are beginning to witness big names from their favorite teams announce their decision to enter the portal.
According to a report from Wildcat Authority’s Jason Scheer, Arizona running back Jonah Coleman is entering the transfer portal following the news of Jedd Fisch departing for Washington.
Coleman was a major piece of Fisch’s offense in 2023 totaling 128 carries for 871 yards and five scores. The California native spent two seasons at Arizona and recorded a total of 203 carries for 1,243 yards and ten total touchdowns.
Coming out of high school, Coleman was listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index and checked in as the nation’s 494th-ranked prospect. He was also listed as the 38th-ranked running back in his class and the 37th-ranked player in the state of California.
Arizona will now have a new spot to fill ahead of the 2024 season but with Jedd Fisch departing for a new job in the Big Ten, Arizona has a lot of changes ahead of them to focus on.
