Ten Big 12 Teams Listed in ESPN Bracketology Update
With conference play officially upon us in the Big 12, ESPN released a bracketology update that features eight teams from the league earning an invite to the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
The eight teams listed as tournament participants are (1) Kansas, (2) Houston, (3) Baylor, (5) Oklahoma, (6) BYU,(7) Iowa State, (9) TCU, and (10) Texas Tech. Two Big 12 teams narrowly missed out on the tournament field with Cincinnati and Kansas State being listed as first four out and next four out.
With Big 12 Conference play heating up, each team in the league will have a shot at claiming the title for the top team in the best basketball conference in America.
Of the eight teams that were mentioned in the update, the group currently holds a collective record of 108-20.
In the scenario listed above, the matchups based on seeding would look something like this.

(2) Houston vs. (15) St. Peter’s
(3) Baylor vs. (14) Eastern Washington

While the 2024 NCAA Tournament is still nearly three months away, the eight teams listed above from the Big 12 Conference are currently passing the eye test as tournament bids, at least in the eyes of Joe Lunardi.
