When Jalon Daniels announced that he would return in 2024, it was a huge boost for the Kansas Jayhawks, who are coming off a 9-4 season.

However, Daniels wasn’t around for most of the 2023 season but a host of other playmakers made sure that the KU offense continued to hum in his absence.

With Jason Bean at the controls, Kansas continued to rack up yards (446.1 ypg) and points (34.8 ppg) thanks to players like Devin Neal, Lawrence Arnold, and Luke Grimm, all of whom have announced that they will return next season.

Now, the third member of the Jayhawks’ impressive trio of wideouts is expected to return, according to reports.

According to KSNT 27, a news station in Kansas, KU wideout Quentin Skinner is expected to return for his fifth season after he was listed on the KU football roster and is going to participate in spring workouts.

Skinner’s return means the Jayhawks will return 1,924 receiving yards and 14 receiving touchdowns from a trio that helped produce KU’s first bowl win since 2008 and the program’s first nine-win season since 2007.

As long as Kansas is able to keep Lance Leipold in Lawrence, which it has been successful with to this point, the Jayhawks will be a challenger in the Big 12 race, and with a bevy of offensive talent returning, they’ll be a team to keep a close eye on this offseason.
