Look: Kerr Kriisa’s Hilarious Response to Social Media Criticism
While the West Virginia Mountaineers earned a massive upset win on Saturday over the No. 3 Kansas Jayhawks, WVU point guard Kerr Kriisa was catching some strays on social media for turning the basketball over.
Kriisa took to social media following the upset win and wrote a hilarious response to a comment from one Mountaineer fan who reacted to the game saying, “Kerr STOP TURNING THE BALL OVER!!”
The Mountaineers’ post guard took the backlash on the chin and said, “DAWG IM TRYING.”
Kriisa was a key piece in the win recording an impressive stat line of 16 points, three assists, three rebounds, and two steals. To the credit of the individual responsible for the turnover comment, Kriisa also added six turnovers on the day.
The Estonia native has been a big part of West Virginia’s bounce back as the senior guard is currently averaging 10.1 points, 4.8 assists, and 2.3 rebounds per game since his return to the court on December 16th.
With the win, the Mountaineers have now recorded two major upsets including the win over No. 3 Kansas, and No. 25 Texas. The team improved to 7-11 overall, and 2-3 in Big 12 Conference play.
Kerr Kriisa and the Mountaineers will return to the court on Tuesday, January 23rd on the road against the UCF Knights at 6:00 PM CT live on ESPN+.
