Colorado OL Jack Wilty Enters Transfer Portal

NCAA Football: Arizona at Colorado

With transfer portal season officially upon us, college football fans are beginning to witness big names from their favorite teams announce their decision to enter the portal.

According to a report from 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz, Colorado offensive lineman Jack Wilty is entering the transfer portal as a grad transfer with two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Wilty saw action in 11 games this season in Boulder, including one start on the offensive line. While Colorado Head Coach Deion Sanders has planned to rebuild depth on the offensive line, the loss of Jack Wilty is a big one for a position group in need of an overhaul.

Coming out of Iowa Central Community College, Wilty was listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index and checked in as the nation’s 66th-ranked JUCO prospect. He was also listed as the third-ranked interior offensive lineman in his class and the seventh-ranked player in the state of Iowa.

Colorado will now have a new spot to fill ahead of the 2024 season, but with this offseason shaping up to include one of the busiest portal cycles in college football history, Deion Sanders should have some options available for replacement.
