Look: EA Sports Appears to be Shooting College Football Video Game Commercial
It’s been over a decade since EA Sports released a college football video game title, but the wait is almost over and college football fans could not be more excited.
The country expected to see some sort of teaser trailer or information released during the National Championship game earlier this month, but was disappointed when EA got cold feet and decided to withhold any sort of information.
According to 247Sports’ Brandon Marcello, there was never a teaser trailer in the works, but information on the game was supposed to be released before the company pulled back.
Now, the entire College Football community is waiting with bated breath for some sort of information leak, release date, or any other tidbit of information they can get on the upcoming game.
How about some very intriguing screenshots from a private Instagram story?
Tubbylight, a YouTube account that provides up-to-date information on the upcoming game as well as content from the timeless NCAA Football 14 installment, recently published a video titled, “LEAKED EA Sports College Football 25 Commercial Shoot!”
In this video, the publisher claims to have received screenshots from a source that asked to remain anonymous. The screenshots are from a private Instagram story, and look like this:

The date on the director’s clapboard reads, “1/23/24,” so if this is indeed a legit source, the filming was done just a matter of days ago.
The location for the second screenshot is certainly legitimate, as the Rose Bowl venue is unmistakable merely at a glance.
Could we be looking at the first leaks for a commercial that we’ve waited for since the day EA announced this game was coming back? There’s plenty of reason for optimism, and if for nothing else, this is a sign that this game is getting very close to becoming a reality once again.
