Watch: BYU’s Cosmo Cougar Shows Off Incredible Strength While Climbing Tables
While it’s technically up for debate which mascot is the best in the Big 12 Conference, BYU‘s Cosmo Cougar currently has the conversation in a chokehold following his heroics on Saturday night.
Cosmo took control of the public eye during Saturday’s matchup against Texas by climbing three stacked folding tables during a media timeout to get the crowd going.
Cosmo’s lights out performance was matched by BYU on Saturday with the 84-72 win over the Texas Longhorns which advanced the team’s conference record to 3-4.
In the game, the Cougars had five starters in double figures with Noah Waterman, Fousseyni Traore, Jaxson Robinson, Spencer Johnson, and Richie Saunders combining for 72 of the team’s 84 points.
Cosmo’s latest impressive performance adds another chapter to the historic career of one of college sports’ greatest mascots.
Cosmo will have a quick turnaround before jumping out of a plane, backflipping over a flaming rope, or whatever incredible stunt he has lined up next against West Virginia on February 3rd.
