While the Arizona Wildcats have had a tough offseason that included losing head coach Jedd Fisch to Washington, the team is also losing one of their future commits.
2024 three-star safety Rahim Wright announced on social media Monday afternoon that he would be decommitting from Arizona and re-opening his recruitment.
Coming out of Rancho Cucamonga High School, Wright is listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index as well as the nation’s 1086th-ranked player. He also checks in as the 111th-ranked safety in his class and the 76th-ranked player in the state of California.
Wright will now re-open his commitment and likely choose from one of seven other offers including San Diego State, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Sacramento State, San Jose State, and Washington State.
While the college football season is still the better part of eight months away, Arizona kicks off the 2024 season on Saturday, August 31st, against the New Mexico Lobos.
