Multiple teams from the Big 12 Conference received some positive news on Saturday afternoon with an update in the recruitment of 2025 four-star guard Jeremiah Green.
Coming out of Sunrise Christian High School, Green is listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index as well as the nation’s 51st-ranked prospect. He currently checks in as the ninth-ranked point guard in his class as well as the top-ranked player in the state of Texas.
While a total of seven Big 12 teams were mentioned on Green’s list, that number will drop to five in July of 2024 with Oklahoma and Texas departing for the SEC.
Green has taken official visits to five different programs including Oklahoma State, West Virginia, TCU, Texas A&M, and Auburn, three of which made Green’s Top 10. Houston and Kansas State have also hosted Green on unofficial visits during the 2023-24 season.
Green spoke to On3’s Joe Tipton about the process of his recruitment and mentioned that he’s looking for, “Somewhere I could go make an impact immediately. Somewhere that they feel comfortable going through the highs and lows with me and somewhere I feel like I could develop the most and give it the best chance to go to the league.”
As far as when a decision could come from the Texas native, Green said, “I think anywhere from the middle of summer this year to the start of my senior year.”
