Gus Malzahn and the UCF Knights made a massive splash in the Class of 2025 with the commitment of four-star safety Kendarius Reddick.
Reddick flipped his commitment from Auburn to UCF and with his commitment, the Georgia native became the highest-ranked prospect in the history of UCF football.
Reddick spoke on what stood out about UCF to On3’s Hayes Fawcett saying, “The way everyone looked at me as family as soon as I stepped foot in the facility. It just made me feel more at home.”
Coming out of Thomas County Central High School, Reddick is listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index and currently checks in as the nation’s 64th-ranked prospect. He is also listed as the seventh-ranked safety in his class and the 12th-ranked player in the state of Georgia.
Malzahn and the Knights beat out some stellar programs to land Reddick with teams like Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Miami, Ole Miss, USC, and more all coming up short.
With his commitment, Reddick joins three other players in the Class of 2025 heading to Orlando with four-star running back Taevion Swint, three-star offensive tackle Jaquez Joiner, and three-star wide receiver Santonyo Isaac all previously committed.
Despite the college football season being the better part of seven months away, Gus Malzahn and the Knights will take the field on Thursday, August 29th against the New Hampshire Wildcats.
