As the young fan went to town on BYU’s signature dessert, fans in attendance started to cheer as the fan took his first steps toward creating a viral moment for years to come.
While the score appeared to be out of hand at the time of the clip, Kansas State rallied back late to cut the game to two points with a little more than one minute remaining. BYU went on to weather the storm and keep the Wildcats at bay thanks to a deep three-point shot from Jaxson Robinson to put the game on ice.
Robinson was one of five players to reach double figures in the matchup joining Noah Waterman, Spencer Johnson, Trevin Knell, and Fousseyni Traore. The five scorers combined for 59 of BYU’s 79 points and also added 18 rebounds and seven assists.
With the win, the Cougars recorded their fifth win in conference play and their 17th overall win. BYU will have a quick turnaround at the Marriott Center on Tuesday evening as they get set to clash with Johnny Dawkins and the UCF Knights at 8:00 PM CT.
