Kyle Whittingham and the Utah Utes added a new name to the Class of 2025 with the commitment of three-star quarterback Shaker Reisig.
Reisig elected to join the Utes after receiving offers from 11 different programs including the likes of BYU, Houston, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Minnesota, and more.
Coming out of Union High School, Reisig is listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index and is currently listed as the 52nd-ranked quarterback in his class. He also checks in as the 11th-ranked player in the state of Oklahoma.
With his commitment, Reisig becomes the Utes’ second commitment in the Class of 2025 joining fellow three-star quarterback Wyatt Becker. Becker, a three-star quarterback from California, announced his decision to commit to Utah back on November 15th.
While the 2024 season is still the better part of seven months away from kicking off, Reisig and the rest of the Class of 2025 commits will have an opportunity to watch their future team take the field for the first time in 2024 on Thursday, August 29th against Southern Utah.
