Report: New Info for EA Sports College Football Video Game Coming on February 15
News and information on EA Sports’ upcoming College Football video game has been sparse, and with the game merely months away from release, it’s got fans of the franchise getting antsy about a potential delay.
However, there’s no reason to believe that the game isn’t on schedule to release in the Summer of 2024, as that’s been the consistent report for some time now.
EA has chosen to remain tight-lipped on this game, and all it’s done is drive up the intrigue and anticipation for every little update — which is a genius marketing strategy if you as me. With that said, there is some information on the game set to release this week, according to Extra Points’ Matt Brown.
Brown, the best and most consistent source on all things EA Sports College Football 25, is reporting that multiple school-based sources are telling him to expect a small EA Sports CFB update on February 15.
The update? Participating schools will share social media graphics to confirm their participation in the game.
Brown also got ahead of the rumor mill this time around too, saying that the update isn’t a commercial or gameplay trailer for the game, as was the rumor around the time of the National Championship game last month.
“Also: this is not a commercial or a gameplay trailer,” Brown wrote on Twitter. “Do not come screaming at me if EA does not personally let you play the game on Thursday.”
The anticipation for the return of a college football video game is palpable right now, and the community cannot wait to see how this game looks after a decade without any new releases.
With less than five months to go before the rumored release date, the wait is almost over and it won’t be long before we start getting some major news dropping to start building the anticipation even more.
