Hunter Dickinson Claps Back at Michigan State Fans Trolling Juwan Howard
While Kansas center Hunter Dickinson elected to leave Michigan through the transfer portal this offseason, his ties to the university remain strong.
Following the Wolverines’ 73-63 loss to their in-state rival Michigan State, Dickinson responded to Spartans fans on social media focused on trolling Michigan head coach Juwan Howard.
While Michigan State fans focused on celebrating the win over Michigan on the basketball court, Dickinson took things to the gridiron, where the Wolverines dominated their rival 49-0 en route to a National Championship.
Dickinson spent three seasons with Howard at Michigan from 2020-2023, where he quickly became one of the nation’s top big men. A three-time All-Big Ten honoree, he led Michigan to a 60-36 record during his time in Ann Arbor and an Elite Eight appearance as a freshman in 2020-21.
While Dickinson elected to enter the transfer portal on March 31st to team up with Bill Self at Kansas, The Virginia native still had enough love for Michigan in his system to send some heat toward his old rival.
Dickinson and the Jayhawks take the court on Tuesday, February 24th, against Rodney Terry and the Texas Longhorns at 5:00 PM CT on ESPN.
