How To Watch Big 12 Men’s Basketball Games For Week 17: Kansas at Baylor, Kansas State at Cincinnati
The Big 12 men’s basketball season starts Week 17 of the season and we are down to the final four games of the regular season schedule.
The Big 12 will have games on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. The mid-week byes are over as every team is pushing for Big 12 Tournament seeding.
Here’s the complete schedule, how to watch each game, and, if you’re so inclined, the three must-watch games of the week.
Texas at Texas Tech
How To Watch: 8 p.m., Tuesday, ESPN
Yeah, they don’t like each other. Some folks in Lubbock started camping out this weekend to get into the game. This will be their last meeting as Big 12 teams. In fact, it will probably be their last meeting for a while, as Texas is not prioritizing meetings with its former Big 12 mates.
Dislike aside, Texas needs this win far more than Texas Tech does. The Red Raiders can put another nail in Texas’ NCAA Tournament coffin just a couple of days after Kansas blew Texas out. There’s nothing better to keep one warm out in Lubbock on a February night than that.
Kansas at Baylor
How to Watch: Noon, Saturday, ABC
Every time these two teams play in Waco it gets interesting. There is so much parity in this league that I can see Kansas going into Waco and winning this one. But, if you think it’s loud in Foster Pavilion when TCU or Houston is there? Well, let me tell you. Take earplugs to this one if you’re going in person. Eardrums could be split.
By the way, the winner could well secure one of the four double-byes in the Big 12 Tournament and leave the loser on the outside looking in.
Kansas State at Cincinnati
How to Watch: 6 p.m., Saturday, Big 12 Now on ESPN+
One final gasp for two teams that are trying play their way into the NCAA Tournament? This well could be it. And, in many cases, desperation equals drama. This one should be worth the ESPN+ plus subscription.
