Kedon Slovis Impressing Scouts at 2024 NFL Combine

Former BYU quarterback Kedon Slovis has been an exciting player to follow since bouncing around the college football landscape and now finds himself as an underrated signal caller in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Slovis is trending on social media this week after a dominant performance at the NFL Combine, which left scouts worldwide asking for more.

Slovis’ numbers were off the chart in his relative athletic score, checking in as the 25th-ranked quarterback out of the 916 tested from 1987-2024. During one of his combine drills, NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah mentioned Slovis’ impressive performance, saying, “Slovis is having a solid day.”

Slovis, a 6-foot-3, 215-pound quarterback from Arizona, put together a showstopping performance at the NFL Combine, including elite numbers in his composite speed grade and composite explosion grade with good numbers on the composite size grade. The Arizona native finished his final season of college eligibility with 1,716 yards and a touchdown-to-interception ratio of 12-6.

With scouts continuing to take notice, Slovis will likely be a Day Three pick in the 2024 NFL Draft but does have some upside that could see him off the board on Day Two. Slovis is currently rated the 16th-ranked quarterback in his class, according to NFLDraftBuzz.com. With his recent highlights at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, the former Cougar’s stock should continue to rise.
