After winning the Big 12 Conference in their first year as league members, Kelvin Sampson’s team now shifts their focus to competing in their first-ever Big 12 Tournament.

Houston tips off their tournament run as the field’s No. 1 seed. Kelvin Sampson’s squad is set to take the court on Thursday, March 14th, and will take on the winner between No. 8 TCU and No. 9 Oklahoma.
The Cougars finished their season off with a 28-3 overall record and a conference record of 15-3. After winning the regular season title, the Cougars now look to add a Big 12 Tournament title to their trophy case before likely entering the NCAA Tournament as a one-seed.
The Big 12 men’s basketball tournament officially gets underway on Tuesday, March 14th, with the No. 12 UCF Knights taking on the No. 13 Oklahoma State Cowboys at 11:30 a.m. CT on ESPN+.
