Oklahoma State F Isaiah Miranda Enters Transfer Portal

NCAA Basketball: Oklahoma State at Texas Tech

Following the conclusion of the 2023-24 season for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, the first member of the Big 12 Conference to hit the transfer portal is officially upon us.

Oklahoma State forward Isaiah Miranda entered his name into the transfer portal following the news that the Cowboys had decided to fire head coach Mike Boynton.

While Miranda didn’t see the court much for the Cowboys as a freshman, he did suit up for three games in the month of December. Miranda was active for three straight wins against Tulsa, Oral Roberts, and Wofford, with an average of 2.7 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.

Coming out of Southern California Academy High School in the Class of 2023, Miranda was listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index. The California native checked in as the 110th-ranked prospect in his class, the 11th-ranked player at his position, and the sixth-ranked player in the state of California.

With Isaiah Miranda becoming the first Cowboy to hit the transfer portal after Mike Boynton’s dismissal, Oklahoma State heads into the offseason without a head coach and without one member of the team’s young core.
