UCF Offering Chance to be Head Coach During Spring Game
Spring games have become a milestone in the college football calendar, as they mark the end of spring practices and also turn the page to the next major event of the year, the post-spring transfer portal window.
They also provide great opportunities for recruiting weekends on campuses around the nation, giving potential future players the chance to see coaches work with their players up close.
Perhaps the biggest reason for spring games though, is the chance for fan bases to get an early look at the upcoming team. However, fans at UCF might be showing up for something even better.
The Knights NIL Collective, “The Kingdom,” is working in tandem with the football program to offer some exclusive experiences for fans at the 2024 “Knights vs. Nauts” Spring Football Game.
According to a release from the collective, fans can support “The Kingdom” by purchasing tickets through their site, which offers unique opportunities that vary from running out of the tunnel with the team to serving as the head coach alongside Gus Malzahn.
Below is a list of the experiences offered, as well as how many tickets are available at each price point:
- Running out of the tunnel (8 available) – $250
- Design a Helmet (6 available) – $400
- Kick the extra point! (2 available) – $1,500
- Catch a punt! (2 available) – $1,500
- ‘Nauts Offensive Coordinator (2 available) – $2,000
- Knights Defensive Coordinator (2 available) – $2,000
- Spring Game Head Coach (2 available) – $5,000
The top donation of $5,000 will provide a gear package, a spring game jersey, and of course, the chance to be head coach for the day.
NIL opportunities are getting more and more creative as that portion of college football continues to evolve quicker than anyone can seem to keep up.
