Look: Leaked Images of EA Sports College Football 25
The college football world has been patiently waiting for over a decade, as a licensed video game title hasn’t been released since EA Sports released NCAA 14 in 2013.
Now a beloved relic of the video game community, NCAA 14 has filled the void for college football fans. Modified game files seemingly update the game from time to time with updated uniform combinations, rosters, and graphics to help supplement an aging game.
But, at the end of the day, it is still a game that is way past its glory days, and the community is ready for something new.
That’s why the news of EA Sports’ College Football 25 appeared to shake the world to its core–because it did. Now, every time a sliver of information is released about the game, the internet breaks for a few hours while we all race to see the latest.
Tuesday was no different, as what appears to be leaked images from EA Sports’ best-kept secret have made their way into the public eye.
The Twitter account EverythingEACollegeFootball shared these pictures on Tuesday afternoon, creating quite a buzz.
According to BringNCAABack on Instagram, these leaked photos are “pre-alpha renderings,” which means they were very early into development when these screenshots were taken. Things like atmospheric lighting, shaders, and updated graphics can totally change the way things look now.
However, this rendering of Missouri’s football stadium is arguably better than anything we’ve seen in the recent Madden installments.
The attention to detail and care for the sport that is being poured into this game is getting folks pretty excited about its release this summer. Still, images like this make the game’s full reveal (in May) something that I’ll certainly be marking my calendar for.
