Social Media Reacts to Caleb Williams’ Look at USC Game
If you didn’t know it by now, Caleb Williams is all about being one-of-one. The former Heisman winner is one of the most soughtafter quarterback recruits that the NFL has seen in some time, and his play on the field justifies the hype around him.
However, there are some aspects of Williams’ persona that seem to hit people the the wrong way. From his comments on owning a part of an NFL frachise that he plays for and refusing a medical evalution at the NFL Combine, to painting his fingernails all kinds of different colors, the former USC quarterback does everything he can to stick out from the crowd.
While attending USC’s NCAA Tournament game against Kansas on Monday night, Williams stood out from the crowd once again, as the camera caught a glimpse of him enjoying the music during a timeout.
With his look completed by pink nails, pink lipstick, and a pink phone case, it didn’t take long for Twitter trolls to catch on. What happened next is pretty much exactly what you’d expect.
Williams did eventually let people know what the look was about, as he posted on Twitter that is was all in support of the USC women, who avoided an upset bid from a pesky Jayhawks squad.
Williams is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, which would make him the future of the Chicago Bears’ franchise.
