Watch: Former Texas QB Vince Young Knocked Out in Bar Fight

Nearly 20 years ago, Vince Young was one of the biggest names in college football. The Longhorns’ quarterback was bigger than life, and his performance in the 2006 Rose Bowl has gone down in history as one of the greatest performances of all time.

On 4th and 5, with the national championship on the line, Vince Young rolled to his right and crossed the goal line to give UT the lead and eventually the win over, 41-38.

After winning Texas’ only national championship since 1970, Young should never have to buy a beer in the Lone Star State ever again. Well, at least one Texan didn’t get the memo.

On Tuesday, TMZ released footage of an altercation involving Young at Tokyo Joe’s Shot Bar in Houston (Tex.) in the early morning hours of February 4, 2024.

The two-minute video shows a group of men, including Young, engaging in an escalating conversation. Soon enough, the jawing turns into shoving and the huddle begins to move around the bar. Eventually, a man standing near Young plants one right on the former quarterback’s chin, folding him like a cheap suit.

Take a look at the video for yourself.

Given that it was a cheap shot, the running theory is that the assailant is a Texas A&M fan, but that has yet to be confirmed by authorities.

Either way, I wouldn’t expect to find Vince Young in Tokyo Joe’s anytime soon.
