Cincinnati center Aziz Bandaogo officially declared for the 2024 NBA Draft on Friday afternoon but will maintain eligibility for a potential return.

The senior transfer spent two seasons at Akron and one season with Utah Valley before teaming up with Wes Miller and the Bearcats in his senior season.

In his announcement post, Bandaogo thanked Cincinnati fans for their support during his time with the program but also mentioned his intent to finish his college career at UC.

“To my Cincinnati Bearcat family, friends, and supporters, thank you for the amazing journey so far,” Bandaogo said in the statement. “I have decided to test the NBA Draft but plan to finish my college career at UC. Let’s do something special. Go, Bearcats.”

The 7-foot center from Senegal finished off his senior season, averaging 6.6 points and 7.4 rebounds per game on 64.2% shooting from the field. His biggest game of the season came on January 6th against No. 12 BYU, where he posted 12 points, 11 rebounds, one block, and one assist.

If he elects to stay in the 2024 NBA Draft, Bandaogo will end his collegiate career with 732 points, 712 rebounds, 197 blocks, and 72 assists. Draft night coverage gets underway on Wednesday, June 26th.
