Reddick that he wanted to go to Cincinnati as a kid.   "I loved Cincinnati with Logan and Ruben Patterson, Kenyon Martin, and all those guys," James said. "Then when Kenny Satterfield stepped in, DerMarr Johnson, it was like I remembered watching it as a kid. When I was growing up, I wanted to go to Cincinnati because of the uniforms and because of Huggs." Growing up in Akron, Ohio, James was just a few hours from Cincinnati's campus. After rising to superstardom at the age of 14, college was almost an afterthought for James as the NBA after he took home three straight Mr. Basketball awards from 2001-2003. James played for current Duquesne head coach Dru Joyce at St. Vincent - St. Mary, where he forged his path toward becoming one of the greatest basketball players of all time. While UC fans have seen some historically great talents pass through their program over the years, it's hard not to daydream about what might have been with LeBron James heading to college as a Cincinnati Bearcat.
