Neal Brown and the West Virginia Mountaineers landed a new player in the Class of 2025 on Saturday with the addition of three-star offensive tackle Eidan Buchanan.

Buchanan chose the Mountaineers over offers from 15 different programs, including Wisconsin, Miami, Kentucky, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, and more.

Coming out of high school in the Class of 2025, Buchanan is listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 912th-ranked prospect. He also checked in as the 65th-ranked player at his position and the 25th-ranked player in the state of Maryland.

Buchanan announced his decision live on Instagram and became the Mountaineers’ fifth addition to the Class of 2025. He joins four other three-star prospects, CB Zah Jackson, QB Scotty Fox, WR Tyshawn Dues, and OL Thomas Barr, heading to Morgantown.

With Buchanan’s addition, the Mountaineers’ 2025 Class jumped to the nation’s 41st-ranked group. West Virginia also has the seventh-best class in the Big 12 Conference, trailing Texas Tech, UCF, Baylor, TCU, Iowa State, and Arizona State.

Eidan Buchanan and the rest of the future Mountaineers will have the opportunity to watch their team take the field against the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday, August 31st.
