2025 Three-Star TE Caden Piening Commits to UCF

Gus Malzahn and the UCF Knights landed a new player in the Class of 2025 on Saturday with the addition of three-star tight end Caden Piening.

Piening chose the Knights over offers from 22 different programs, including West Virginia, Texas A&M, Indiana, Arkansas, Louisville, Florida, and more.

Coming out of high school in the Class of 2025, Piening is listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 734th-ranked prospect. He also checked in as the 30th-ranked player at his position and the 23rd-ranked player in the state of Ohio.

With his commitment, Piening became the Knights’ eighth addition in the Class of 2025, joining an impressive cast of athletes. The Knights have already added three four-star prospects and four three-stars, including ATH Kendarius Reddick, RB Taevion Swint, S Tony Williams, ATH Demarcus Gardner, OT Jaquez Joiner, WR Santonyo Isaac, and DL RyShawn Perry.

Caden Piening and the rest of the future Knights will have the opportunity to watch their team take the field against New Hampshire on Thursday, August 29th.
