Cincinnati is hoping to add some depth in the backcourt with the addition of Bradley transfer guard Connor Hickman, who announced his transfer destination on Monday.

Hickman spent three years with the Braves and developed into one of the top-scoring guards in the Missouri Valley Conference.

As a junior in 2023-24, Hickman posted career-bests in points, rebounds, and assists. The Indiana native averaged 14.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game on 46.7% shooting from the field.

Coming out of Bloomington South High School in the Class of 2021, Hickman was listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index. He also checked in as the 35th-ranked player at his position and the 15th-ranked player in the state of Indiana.

Hickman heads to UC with one remaining season of eligibility after using the first three from 2021-2024. While he mauy not have an overall rating as a transfer by recruiting services, 247Sports did list him as a four-star transfer portal prospect.

Hickman became the Bearcats’ first addition through the transfer portal this offseason and will join a backcourt that features players like Jizzle James, Day Day Thomas, Dan Skillings Jr., and more.
