Colorado DL Chazz Wallace Enters Transfer Portal

NCAA Football: Arizona at Colorado

Colorado’s Chazz Wallace has announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal on Monday.

Wallace has been with the Buffaloes for one year after spending the previous two seasons at Old Dominion.

In three seasons of college football, Wallace has totaled 58 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and four sacks.

Coming out of The Avalon School in the Class of 2020, Wallace was listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 2080th-ranked player. He also checked in as the 154th-ranked player at his position and the 50th-ranked player in the state of Maryland.

Wallace will hit the portal with one year of eligibility remaining after spending two years at ODU and one season in Boulder with Coach Prime.

The loss of depth on the defensive line is big for the Buffaloes, as many viewed Colorado’s struggles in 2023 due to a lack of size on the offensive and defensive line. Wallace will bring a veteran presence to a new locker room with a solid 6-foot-2, 300-pound frame to a team in need of pass-rushing depth in the trenches.
