Arizona State QB Jaden Rashada Enters Transfer Portal

NCAA Football: Arizona State at Arizona

In one of the biggest spring transfer portal moves to date, Arizona State quarterback Jaden Rashada is set to look for a new home.

Jaden Rashada posted a message to social media thanking his Arizona State teammates and coaches and saying that he is “seeking the best fit for my career.”

The former top-100 recruit has four years of eligibility remaining after opening last season as the starter but missing most of the year with a knee injury.

He played in three games, finishing with 485 passing yards, four touchdowns, three interceptions, while rushing for 23 yards.

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound Rashada missed spring practice with the Sun Devils following offseason thumb surgery.

“Someone will be getting an elite talent and a great person!! Will always be rooting for you!” Arizona State coach Kenny Dillingham posted on social media, acknowledging Rashada’s plans.

ASU returns senior quarterback Trenton Bourguet and added Sam Leavitt, a transfer from Michigan State.

Arizona State is set to join the Big 12 Conference on July 1st and opens the season on August 31st vs. Wyoming.
