Former George Mason Guard Keyshawn Hall Transfers to UCF

UCF head basketball coach Johnny Dawkins.

Johnny Dawkins and the UCF Knights added George Mason guard Keyshawn Hall through the transfer portal, bringing them their second player of the offseason.

Hall, a 6-foot-7 guard from Cleveland, Ohio, was a highly coveted player in the transfer portal. In high school, he chose the UNLV Rebels over the Missouri, Texas A&M, Wichita State, and more.

Last season with the Patriots, Hall put up some impressive numbers. He posted 16.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game on 47.4% shooting from the field. Page also connected on 35.7% of his shots from three. His best game of the season came against Bradley on December 19th, where he posted 36 points, 12 rebounds, and one assist.

While Hall was unranked by most major recruiting services when he came out of high school, he was listed as the 89th-ranked player in the transfer portal and the 12th-ranked player at his position by the 247Sports index.

With his commitment, Hall became UCF’s second commitment this offseason, joining former Syracuse forward Benny Williams through the transfer portal.

While UCF had a tough first season as a member of the Big 12 Conference in 2023-24, Johnny Dawkins is attacking the offseason transfer portal with the goal of contending for a title on his mind in 2024-25.
