Tad Boyle and the Colorado Buffaloes added a new player to their roster ahead of the 2024-25 season with the commitment of Washington State forward Andrej Jakimovski through the transfer portal.

Jakimovski spent the previous four seasons at Washington State and developed into a reliable big man in the Pac-12 Conference as a senior.

Last season with the Cougars, Jakimovski put up some impressive numbers. He posted 9.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game on 36.1% shooting from the field. Jakimovski also connected on 33.2% of his shots from three. His best game of the season came against Cal on January 20th, where he posted 20 points, seven rebounds, and three assists.

Coming out of Macedonia High School in the Class of 2020, Jakimovski was listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index and was labeled the 141st-ranked player in the class. He also checked in as the 29th-ranked player at his position and the top-ranked player in Macedonia.

With his commitment, Jakimovski became Colorado’s second commitment this offseason, joining former Colorado Mesa forward Trevor Baskin through the transfer portal.

As Colorado gets set for their first season of Big 12 Basketball since 2009, Tad Boyle and his coaching staff are doing everything they can to ensure they field a competitive roster in 2024-25.
