REPORT: Kansas State G Ques Glover Enters Transfer Portal

NCAA Basketball: Big 12 Conference Tournament Quarterfinal- Iowa State vs Kansas State

According to Derek Young of K-State Online, Kansas State guard Ques Glover entered the transfer portal on Thursday evening and is looking to spend his final year of eligibility somewhere other than Manhattan (Kan.)

Glover missed the 2023-24 season due to a lingering knee injury after joining the Wildcats this offseason through the transfer portal, and many folks expected that his opting out of senior day activities last month meant that he would return for the Wildcats in 2024-25.

However, it appears that K-State’s addition of several players to its backcourt has resulted in the loss of the four-year veteran.

Glover began his career at Florida, where he played with former K-State All-American Keyontae Johnson. After two seasons with the Gators, he transferred to Samford and averaged 17 points per game over a two-year span there. Then, ahead of the 2023 season, Glover chose Kansas State over a host of other potential suitors.

Coming out of high school, Glover was listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index, checking in as the 51st-ranked point guard in the class of 2018, and also was listed as the ninth-ranked prospect from the state of Tennessee.

Now, Glover will look for his fourth program to spend his seventh season of college basketball after not having logged a minute for the Wildcats during his time under Jerome Tang.
