Watch: Cooper Beebe Gets the Call on Draft Night

NCAA Football: Kansas State at Texas Tech

The Big 12’s best offensive lineman, who was selected in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft, is officially headed to Dallas as the newest member of the Cowboys.

Kansas State‘s Cooper Beebe was selected with the 73rd pick in the draft, and he received a call from Jerry Jones in front of his family, which made for an emotional moment.

Beebe is a name that Big 12 fans are well aware of regardless of which team in the conference they support. In 2022 and 2023, Beebe took home back-to-back Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year awards.

The Kansas native can be seen in the video from KSNT’s Glenn Kinley answering Jerry Jones’ call before speaking to his new head coach, Mike McCarthy.

For Wildcats fans, Beebe’s selection to Dallas is pretty special. The 6-foot-4, 335-pound mauler will have the opportunity to play with Deuce Vaughn, who was selected by Dallas in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
