Following his weekend visit to Kansas State, former four-star Colorado running back Dylan Edwards has received multiple predictions from members of the media to wind up playing football in Manhattan.

Two major contributors from On3 placed their predictions for Edwards to Kansas State, including recruiting experts Steve Wiltfong and Pete Nakos.

“Nebraska and Texas A&M have made efforts to land the tailback,” Nakos said “Ole Miss reached out, too, but it’s unlikely the Rebels have room for another running back. K-State always made sense, and sources said the visit has gone extremely well.”

The Kansas native originally committed to Kansas State after graduating from high school. However, after de-committing from the Wildcats to join the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the Kansas native de-committed once again to head to Colorado.

Coming out of Derby (Kan.), Edwards was the No. 100 overall recruit and the No. 3 running back in the Class of 2023, according to Rivals. He was also ranked as the top player in the state of Kansas. In his freshman season with the Buffaloes, Edwards totaled 520 yards and five touchdowns as a true freshman last season.

Nakos finished his thoughts by saying, “On3’s Steve Wiltfong and I have placed predictions in the Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) with 60% confidence that Dylan Edwards will land at Kansas State and join Avery Johnson.”

While nothing is set in stone in recruiting until the ink officially dries upon signing, things appear to be trending toward a special reunion in Manhattan.
